Mickey Wilcox

   Mickey served in the United States Marine Corps becoming a Non-Commissioned Officer before his Honorable Discharge.  Until he submitted his life to Jesus he lived a life far apart from God, becoming familiar with “the wrong side of the tracks.”  A father of 2 wonderful children, Mickey raised his youngest almost entirely on his own, becoming homeless for a short while.  He surrendered his life fully to Jesus in 2004 and became an ordained Minister of The Gospel in 2008.  Mickey has traveled to more than a dozen different countries as a Christian Missionary.  He has worked disaster relief and participated in inner-city outreach here in the United States. As a published Christian author, evangelist, and Bible teacher, Mickey has helped establish several ministries.  He spent 13 years working for one of the largest regional ministries in East Tennessee.  Mickey has managed the intake & transportation for food pantries, been assistant director for a Christian global mission initiative, and been the program director for an emergency home repair program that facilitated mission teams to work in the Appalachian area.  Mickey’s qualifications include Certified Life Coach through The Academy of Modern Psychology.  A Board-Certified Mental Health Coach and member of the IBCC (International Board of Christian Care).  A wide array of training from Mental Health Trauma Response, Substance Abuse Psychology & Addiction, to Anger Control and PTSD; including certifications in nonprofit management, bookkeeping and accounting, and premarital / marital relationship coaching.
